Fashionholic 2023 Mexicancore

With the show of twenty-five students, the fashion show of the LCI Monterrey University held its ninth edition

 

Fashionholic is an important platform in the Monterrey fashion industry. For nine editions, students from the fashion school of the LCI University Monterrey campus present their work and talent as part of their academic program and, in the process, acquire the necessary skills to work in the industry, becoming a pool of talents for local fashion.

Fashionholic 2023, Mexicancore

 

2023 edition, ninth of this platform, was called Mexicancore, a concept resulting from observation, research and reflection on mexican cultural heritage as a source of inspiration and as the central axis of a universal style coming from a complex culture like that of our country. without falling into common places or folkloric clichés.

At Fashionholic 2023, Mexicancore, the shows of the fashion design students at LCI Monterrey were presented: Margaux Fuentes, Luis Anthony Robles, Regina Palomo, Karla Morales, Francés Nozomi Juárez, Angie Dávila, Arantxa Santacruz, Daniela González, Tania Hernández, María Fernanda Morales, Iona Sabina Gutiérrez, Fernanda Lerma, Betsabé Delgado, Sarita Soto, Vanessa Pérez, Paulina García, Stephanie Miropolski, Silvia Caballero and Annie Kate Steele, as well as Santiago Herrera, Ana Karen Montoya, Tatiana Gómez Zuluaga, María Lucía Mora and Leslie Serratos who presented bridal fashion in collaboration with Si Quiero! Brides. Fashionholic 2023 was also the launch platform for Piel a Piel, an emerging women’s lingerie brand.

The direction was carried out by Juan Caraballo, fashion director of LCI Monterrey, the executive production was by Génesis González and the catwalk production was carried out by Rafael Zúñiga, from whose agency the participating models are.

That the future designers know, since their student days, the pressure, responsibility and work required in the production process of a fashion event, is essential within their training, since, when they face the industry as Fashion designers and entrepreneurs will arrive with the necessary knowledge to face the daily challenges of one of the fundamental industries for society.

With the production and development of the Fashionholic platform, LCI provides a very important competitive advantage to its students, who upon graduating have real experience and the necessary skills to build solid careers within the fashion industry.
